Three AI-PROGNOSIS apps: mAI-Health, mAI-Care and mAI-Insights
Ahead of World Parkinson’s Day on 11 April, AI-PROGNOSIS highlights the applications being developed within the project for PD risk monitoring and PD care.
The AI-PROGNOSIS ecosystem includes:
mAI-Health for persons at risk
mAI-Care for persons with PD
mAI-Insights for clinicians
These applications are designed for different user groups within the AI-PROGNOSIS ecosystem and reflect the project’s work on digital tools for PD risk monitoring and PD care.
mAI-Health collects smartwatch data and occasional self-reporting on risk markers.
mAI-Care collects smartwatch data and the user can see digitally tracked symptoms and activity insights. They can perform motor function and active cognitive tests as well as receive medication reminders and log troublesome daily activities and other patient related outcomes.
mAI-Insights helps clinicians track their patients’ risk or progression:
For persons at risk, they can log risk markers and see their history and view PD risk reports; the data are collected from mAI-Health and the reports are powered by the pd risk assessment model.
For persons with PD, they can log medical data, view digital biomarkers and the PD progression report and find the optimal medication regimen with the help of the medication assistant; the data are collected from mAI-Care and the reports are powered by the PD progression and medication side effects prediction models.
These digital health tools are being developed to support people at risk, people with Parkinson’s, and healthcare professionals in monitoring and care.
