On World Parkinson’s Day, AI-PROGNOSIS stands with people living with Parkinson’s, their caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

Parkinson’s disease is often missed or misdiagnosed, as early symptoms can be subtle and common with other diseases. AI-PROGNOSIS is a European research project attempting to advance Parkinson’s screening and care through the trustworthy artificial intelligence.

The project combines in-depth health, genetic, and wrist wearable data to predict:

• Parkinson’s disease risk

• disease progression

To develop and evaluate its digital health tools, AI-PROGNOSIS is conducting a series of multi-center, proof-of-concept clinical studies and refining its work through co-creation activities with people with Parkinson’s and healthcare professionals.
