A new scientific publication from the AI-PROGNOSIS project has been presented at the 47th Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBC 2025).

The paper, titled “Wrist Accelerometry-based Digital Assessment of Slowness of Movement in Parkinson’s Disease: a Multi-Cohort Analysis”, by Gerasimou et al., introduces a novel digital biomarker for objectively assessing upper-limb slowness of movement in people with Parkinson’s disease using data from wrist-worn accelerometers.
