Ongoing Survey on AI-PROGNOSIS Toolkit for Parkinson's Disease Care

27 Oct 2025

Collecting perspectives from people with Parkinson’s, their relatives, and healthcare professionals to guide the design of an AI-based support tool

We invite you to share your opinion on the use of an artificial intelligence (AI) system for people at risk of developing Parkinson’s disease (PD), those already diagnosed with PD, and their healthcare professionals.

The AI system aims to monitor and explain symptom fluctuations, make prognosis predictions, and optimise treatment responses. By answering this survey, participants help us design a tool that better reflects the needs of people affected by Parkinson’s disease.

Preliminary analysis of responses indicates that symptom tracking is viewed as the most valuable potential AI feature. Differences were also noted between respondent groups: people with Parkinson’s most often identified motor symptoms as their main challenge in daily management, while healthcare professionals highlighted non-motor symptoms.

The online survey consists of five sections and takes approximately 15–20 minutes to complete. It is available in English, French, German, and Spanish.
