User research and co-creation are central to the development of digital health tools that respond to the needs and expectations of their intended users.

The updated AI-PROGNOSIS report presents the project’s work on stakeholder needs, user research methods, prototype feedback, and co-creation activities. It also provides background information on Parkinson’s disease diagnosis and care pathways in France, Germany, Spain, and the United Kingdom.

The report summarises qualitative and quantitative research activities carried out to inform the design of the AI-PROGNOSIS ecosystem of digital health tools. These include the mAI-Health mobile app for persons without Parkinson’s disease, the mAI-Care mobile app for people with Parkinson’s disease, the mAI-Insights platform, and the AI-assisted medication decision support module for healthcare professionals.

This work supports the ongoing user-centred development of the AI-PROGNOSIS digital health ecosystem.
