An online session in Swedish introducing how artificial intelligence is being used in Parkinson’s research and care
Artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming an important tool in health research, including in the field of Parkinson’s disease. Understanding what AI is and how it may influence care and daily life can help people with Parkinson’s and their families engage with new developments in an informed way.
To support this understanding, an online webinar (in Swedish) will introduce the basics of AI and explore how it is currently being applied to study, monitor, and manage Parkinson’s disease.
Researchers from Uppsala University, Sara Riggare and Therese Scott Duncan, will also present the European project AI-PROGNOSIS, which develops AI-based tools to improve early detection, monitoring, and treatment of Parkinson’s disease.
